Georgia earned a pair of victories at Stegeman Coliseum over the weekend, defeating South Carolina in four sets on Friday and sweeping Alabama on Sunday in front of a season-high crowd. Sophie Fischer tallied 5.0 kills a set while Erica Staunton averaged 4.0 kills over the weekend. Both tied season highs on Friday, recording 22 and 17 kills, respectively. During Friday's match, graduate Kacie Evans recorded the 2,000th point of her career, becoming only the fifth Bulldog in the history of the program to reach the milestone.

A Look at What's Ahead
The Bulldogs wrap up the regular season at Stegeman Coliseum Saturday, Nov. 25 when the Missouri Tigers roll into Athens for a 2 p.m. matchup. The 2023 senior class will be honored prior to first serve. The first 400 fans will take home a Taylor Swift-inspired t-shirt for Taylor Swift Night.

Last Time Against LSU
Georgia defeated the LSU Tigers in the first match back in Stegeman Coliseum Oct. 15. Sophie Fischer and Kacie Evans each put up 17 kills, with Fischer hitting .425. Each excelled on the defensive side of the ball with Fischer tying a season-high nine blocks and Evans tallying a double-double with 14 digs. Clara Brower also picked up a double-double with 47 assists and 16 digs to lead the team in both categories. Georgia laid down seven service aces with Bailey Cox and Fischer leading the team with two apiece. The close match featured 25 ties and 13 lead changes. No team won a set by more than four points in the back-and-forth battle.

The Nation's Highest Scoring Middle
Middle blocker Sophie Fischer currently leads the SEC in points per set (5.27) and in total points (543.0). Nationally, she ranks 11th in points per set and is the nation's highest scoring middle. Her 4.16 kills per set ranks third in the league and her 1.28 blocks per set ranks third. Her 0.41 aces per set also cracked the top 10 in the SEC, ranking third.

Lending a Helping Hand
Setter Clara Brower ranks fifth in the SEC with 10.25 assists per set this season. In her third season running the offense, Brower now ranks ninth all-time in total assists with over 2,500 in her career. As Georgia has run a 5-1 offense this season, Brower has recorded nine double-doubles and has a 2.37 digs per set average.

Evans Cements Elite Status
Graduate Kacie Evans has reached a number of milestones in her final season in the Red & Black. Most recently, Evans became just the fifth Bulldog to top 2,000 career points at Georgia. She reached the mark in the second set against South Carolina on Nov. 17. In the first set at Auburn on Oct. 1, Evans recorded her 1,000th career dig, becoming the 22nd member of Georgia's 1,000 Dig Club. Additionally, she also secured Double Grand Club status with her more than 1,700 career kills, becoming Georgia's 15th all-time member of that club.

Evans now ranks fourth all time in career kills with 1,737. Having played in 507 sets, she's on track to at least tie the sets played record of 513 (Sue Ushela, 1981-84). She also ranks top 10 in career, attacks, aces, and total points.

Aces Wild
After strong matches at the service line recently, Georgia has risen to second in the SEC with a 1.77 aces per set average. The Dogs' 182 total aces is second. Sophie Fischer (0.41) and Clara Brower (0.33) each appear in the top 10 in the SEC in the category.
