Â
Let's Recap
Georgia saw its losing streak extended to four matches with a four-set loss at South Carolina on Sunday. Down 2-0 in the match, Georgia won the third set to stay alive but fell in set four. T'ara Ceasar and Rachel Ritchie led the way offensively for Georgia with 13 kills each. Majesti Bass concluded with 10 kills of her own. Ceasar recorded her 10th double-double with 13 digs. Kendall Glover also had 13 digs for the Bulldogs on Sunday.
Â
Looking for Another Strong Finish
In 2017, Tom Black's first season at Georgia, the Bulldogs concluded the conference season winning five of their last seven matches with both losses coming to Kentucky. All five wins were by way of sweeps for Georgia. The team entered the month of November under .500 at 5-6 to finish the regular season 10-8 in SEC play, fifth in the league.Â
Â
Diggin' ItÂ
Georgia's 14.6 digs per set ranks sixth in the SEC. Libero Kendall Glover's 4.16 average comes in at fifth in the league. Georgia has had four or more tip the double-digit mark six times, five of which have come in nine SEC matches. Twice (at Auburn, vs. Texas A&M), Georgia has had five reach the mark.Â
Â
Going the Distance
Six of Georgia's nine SEC matches have gone to five sets this season. In all, the Bulldogs have played nine five-set matches, going 3-6 in those contests. Six of Georgia's eight losses on the season have come in five sets. In four of the five fifth-set losses, Georgia has lost by three points or less.

She became only the seventh Bulldog setter to tip the 3,000-assist mark in her career. Her 10.64 assists/set in her career ranks 12th among active Division I setters. She recorded a new career-best 62 assists at Auburn on Oct. 3. As a team, Georgia ranks second in the conference with 12.7 assists per set.Â
