Black's Blast Provides Fourth Straight Walk-Off Over Eagles

ATHENS, Ga. – Junior Ryan Black's two-run home run provided a 4-3 walk-off Sunday to complete a sweep of Florida Gulf Coast and extend Georgia's winning streak to 10 games.

• Georgia trailed 3-0 after six innings before pushing across single runs in the seventh and eighth to set up Black's two-run walk-off blast for his third home run of the season. It was the first walk-off home run by the Bulldogs this season and first since Kolby Branch's grand slam over Alabama last year.
• Georgia (13-1) swept the four-game set with the Eagles with four walk-offs including one of them a run-rule.
• Sophomore Jordan Stephens pitched the final 1.1 innings to improve to 2-0 and touched 99 miles per hour.
• Sophomore Tre Phelps extended his hitting streak to eight games with an RBI-single. He scored the tying run in the ninth on the Black home run as he was aboard after being hit by a pitch.
• Junior JT Quinn was on a pitch count and provided two scoreless innings with two strikeouts in a start. He was followed by Justin Byrd (2.1 IP, 0R, 4K), Tyler McLoughlin, Paul Farley and then Stephens.
