Georgia Opens Fall Season with UT Martin

ATHENS, Ga. – The sixth-ranked Georgia equestrian team will open the 2023-24 season with No. 10 UT Martin at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the UGA Equestrian Complex.
Georgia returns five All-Americans, including seniors Sophia Pilla, Nora Andrews and Emma Reichow and juniors Catalina Peralta and Jillian Stopperich. Three returning Bulldogs rode to the top of the record books last season, Pilla with a 99 in Flat and Sophie Lucas in Reining against South Carolina and Stopperich in Horsemanship against SMU.
Additional fall competitions include two more home meets when the Bulldogs will play host to South Carolina and Oklahoma State and four road matchups against Texas A&M, Auburn, TCU and UT Martin.
Georgia and UT Martin last met in 2022 to finish the 2021-22 regular season at the UGA Equestrian Complex. The Bulldogs won the meet, 17-2.
