Georgia Falls to Texas A&M in Semifinals of NCEA Championship

OCALA, Fla. – The Georgia equestrian team fell to second-seeded Texas A&M, 12-6, in the semifinals of the 2026 NCEA National Championship.

To begin competition, the Aggies took a 2-1 win in Fences. Junior Madison Nadolenco captured Georgia's lone point in the event, riding to a score of 87.
Texas A&M narrowly defeated the Bulldogs in Reining, 3-2. Kennedy Buchanan edged out her opponent, 72.5-72.3, to secure her point. Freshman Avery Taylor added another point to the Georgia total, after a 71.2-point performance.
In the Flat competition, the Aggies earned a 3-2 win. Ella Duffy received a score of 83 for her performance to win her point. Freshman Kingsley Dey captured her point with an 87-point ride, leading the Bulldogs in scoring for the discipline.
With a 4-1 win in Horsemanship, Texas A&M punched its ticket to Saturday's final. Junior Abbey Zawisza earned Georgia's sole point in the event, riding to a score of 75.3.
Georgia concludes the 2025-26 equestrian season with an overall record of 9-6.
