Boenig Announces 2026-27 Georgia Equestrian Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. – The eight-time national champion University of Georgia equestrian team has announced the complete 2026-27 competition schedule, as it celebrates its 25-year program anniversary.
The schedule features 12 regular season meets, including five hosted at the UGA Equestrian Complex. This will be head coach Meghan Boenig's 25th season at the helm of the storied program.
The Bulldogs will host the annual Red and Black Scrimmage meet on Sept. 19 before kicking off the season by hosting Southeastern Conference foe Texas A&M on Oct. 10.
Georgia will face its first road opponent as they travel to take on the reigning national champion South Carolina on Oct. 23 before returning to Bishop on Oct. 30 to host Fresno State.
The Mane Dawgs will then travel to the Lone Star State to face the SMU Mustangs (Nov. 6) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 7).
Georgia will conclude its fall season at the UGA Equestrian Complex on Nov. 11 by hosting Auburn on Nov. 20.
Following a two-month break, the Bulldogs will return to action with back-to-back home meets against Berry College (Ga.) on Feb. 5 and UT Martin on Feb. 6.
The Mane Dawgs will then hit the road for a three-meet slate, taking on Auburn (Feb. 20), Baylor (Feb. 26) and Texas A&M (Feb. 27).
Returning home for the final meet of the regular season, Georgia will play host to the South Carolina Gamecocks on March 3.
The SEC Championship, hosting by Texas A&M, is scheduled for March 26-27 at the Hilebrand Equine Complex in College Station, Texas. The 2027 NCEA National Championship will be held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, April 15-17.
