No Honors This Week But…: While the Bulldogs did not win any of the weekly league or national awards this week following the Tom Jones Memorial thanks to collegiate records set elsewhere, there were a number of exceptional Bulldog performances in Gainesville, Fla., last weekend including:
- Da Silva launched her third attempt in the shot put a school record distance of 17.56 meters/57 feet, 7 ½ inches to win.  This puts her as the SEC leader and fifth nationally.
- Kulichenko and Drake matched each other with 1.86m/6-1.25 marks in the high jump Invitational to finish second and third, respectively.  These marks stand eighth in the school record books and fifth nationally.Â
- Boling rocketed to a wind-legal personal best of 9.98 to set a school record in the 100m and win the event.  He has the fastest wind legal time in the nation this year (second fastest overall).
- Boling returned with Cavanaugh, McCray and Godwin in the 4x400m relay and set a school record with a 3:02.10 for third place overall.  This time ranks third nationally.
- Carbin, competing in his first meet in a year, cleared 2.21m/7-3 in the high jump to earn runner-up honors, tie his No. 10 spot in the school record books and equal the nation's fifth-best effort this season.
- Davis made her Lady Bulldog debut with a win in the 200m thanks to a 23.23, which ranks eight in the school record books and is the third-fastest time for a freshman nationally this season (No. 32 overall).
- Da Silva started her career in red and black by watching the then second-longest shot put toss in school history (16.70m/54-9.50) sail to win.  The Brazilian native also let go of the seventh-longest hammer throw in school history (62.92m/206-5) to sweep the two throws.
