No. 7 Bulldogs Begin Dual Play Against Panthers

Athens, Ga. – The No. 7 Georgia women's tennis team begins its dual match season with a home bout against Georgia State on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
Georgia has not faced off against the in-state foe Panthers since 2018 where the Bulldogs completed a 4-0 sweep. Georgia leads the all-time series 17-0.
Georgia State is coming off two losses to Liberty and No. 21 Florida. Against the Gators, Georgia State's Eva Chivu and Andrea Stanesu completed the upset against Florida's No. 26 ranked duo of McCartney Kessler and Marlee Zein.
The Bulldogs are beginning home play after a strong weekend of hidden dual play against No. 9 Florida State and Clemson, collecting 20 total wins over three days of play.
Spectator attendance will be limited to guests of the respective team members via pass list. No other fans will be allowed inside the Dan Magill Tennis Complex during indoor matches. Approved fans on the pass list should remain socially distant throughout the stadium.
