Women’s Tennis Announces Fall 2026 Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's tennis team has released its 2026 fall schedule, head coach Drake Bernstein announced Thursday. The Bulldogs will compete in 12 events across the United States and Canada, including ITA, professional and collegiate tournaments throughout the fall.
The team will begin its fall campaign at the Kitty Harrison Invitational from Sept. 11-13 in Chapel Hill, N.C. Georgia will then make its way to Cary, N.C., for the ITA All-American Championships from Sept. 19-27.
Following that, Georgia will head to the West Coast for the Battle in the Bay Classic from Oct. 1-4 in San Francisco, Calif. The fall schedule will continue with Columbia W50 from Oct. 5-11 in Columbia, S.C., followed by ITA Regionals from Oct. 7-13 in Miami, Fla.
The Bulldogs will return to professional competition at the Saguenay W75 from Oct. 19-25 in Saguenay, Canada. Georgia will also compete at the Rome Collegiate Invitational from Oct. 23-25 in Rome, Ga., before heading north for the Toronto W75 from Oct. 26-Nov. 1 in Toronto, Canada.
The final stretch of the fall will feature Stillwater W35 from Nov. 2-8 in Stillwater, Okla. Georgia will also compete in either the ITA Sectionals in Knoxville, Tenn., or the ITA Conference Masters in San Diego, Calif. from Nov. 5-8, depending on previous ITA results.
The Bulldogs will close out the fall campaign by hosting the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships from Nov. 16-22 in Athens, Ga.
Georgia women's tennis returns five members from last season's team that posted a 22-6 record, finished No. 3 nationally, advanced to the NCAA Championship semifinals and captured Georgia's ninth national title at the 2026 ITA National Team Indoor Championship. Senior Aysegul Mert will lead the Bulldogs after earning 2026 All-SEC First Team honors and ITA Singles and Doubles All-American recognition last season.
