Kisner-led Bulldogs Move Into Third Place

LAS VEGAS -- On the strength of sophomore Kevin Kisner's 7-under-par 65, the fourth-ranked Georgia men's golf team moved into third place on Saturday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship.

The Bulldogs carded a second-round 2-under 286 to go to 6-under 570 for the tournament. Georgia trails only Arizona State (555) and Florida (558).

Kisner jumped from a tie for 26th into a tie for third at 7-under 137 after Saturday's round. Kisner is only two shots behind tourney leader Bill Haas of Wake Forest.

Freshman Brendon Todd is tied for 16th at 3-under 141, including a second-round 1-over 73. Sophomore Richard Scott also shot a 1-over 73 on Saturday to move to 1-over 145. Freshman Chris Kirk is at 3-over 147 after firing a 3-over 75 on Saturday. Junior David Denham moved to 6-over 150 as he carded a second-round 3-over 75.
