Loflin Named SEC Golfer of the Week

ATHENS, Ga. --- Senior Carter Loflin of the Georgia men's golf team was named the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Week after finishing first at the Linger Longer Invitational last weekend.
Loflin finished atop the leaderboard and set a tournament record at the 20th Annual Linger Longer Invitational, shooting 18-under after three rounds. He carded a 67-67-64 to set the new record. Loflin ties Chris Kirk for second-best individual tournament score in program history at 18-under par. His score helped the Bulldogs place first out of 18 teams and set the team tournament record of 48-under par, which is the second-best tournament score in program history.
