Bulldogs, Loflin Dominate Linger Longer Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia men's golf team finished first at 48-under par at the 20^th Annual Linger Longer Invitational, while senior Carter Loflin ran away with the individual title on Sunday at the Great Waters Course at Reynold Lake Oconee.

FAST FACTS:

Loflin used a third-round 64 to finish first overall at 18-under par. He had a bogey-free card, with six birdies, an eagle on the sixth hole and dominated on the par four holes. A tournament score of 18-under par is tied with Chris Kirk for second best in program history. This is the second time Loflin finished at the top of the leaderboard this season.
Junior Grayson Wood finished tied for sixth at 7-under after three rounds.
Sophomore James Earle finished tied for ninth at 6-under par. Earle used six birdies on this final round to boost up the leaderboard.
Sophomore Matt Moloney tied for 13th at 5-under par, while freshman JD Culbreth used a final round 69 to finish the tournament at 3-under par, tying for 19^th overall.
Georgia topped the field on the par fours and par fives, while tying for first on the par threes with UCF.
The Bulldogs won by 22 shots, making them back-to-back tournament champions, following their 2025 win.
Alabama and Vanderbilt round out the top three, with Charlotte, Elon and USF tying for fourth.
