2019: Outdoor - Earned runner-up honors in the long jump at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial with the NCAA longest mark of the year and the No. 2 mark in the Lady Bulldog record books of 22 feet, 2 ¼ inches…Won the Mt. SAC Relays after soaring 21-8…Earned First Team All-America honors thanks to a mark of 21-0 for eighth at the NCAA Championships…Scored two points at the SEC Championships after taking seventh with a top effort of 20-8.50.
Indoor - Continued Georgia’s heralded tradition of multi-event athletes with a seventh place finish at the NCAA Championships, scoring 4,237 points in the pentathlon...Continued the Lady Bulldogs’ streak of seven-straight indoor seasons with a First Team All-American in the pentathlon, joining Kendell Williams, Louisa Grauvogel, Quintunya Chapman, Xenia Rahn and Lucie Ondraschkova since 2013...Soared to a personal record in the pentathlon long jump, topping out at 20 feet, 7 inches for first place at nationals...Secured a silver medal at the SEC Indoor Championships with a pentathlon score of 4,305 points...Posted season highs in the 60mH (8.35), the high jump (5’11.5”) and the 800 meters (2:20.33) at SECs...Registered a season-best pentathlon at the Bob Pollock Invitational, rocketing up to No. 3 in Georgia history with 4,372 points towards a second-place finish, a performance that earned her an SEC Freshman of the Week (1.29.19) selection...Competed in the 60-meter hurdles at the the UAB Blazer Invitational (fourth, 8.46), the Tyson Invitational (eighth, 8.50) and the Husker Invitational (fourth, 8.52).
Kennesaw State (2017-18): Scored 5,490 points to take 17thin the heptathlon at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships…Won three heptathlons, including the 2018 Atlantic Sun Conference title, in 2018…Personal-best heptathlon marks of 5,490 points, 200-meter dash (24.3), 19 feet, 8 ¾ inches (long jump), 38-2.25 (shot put), 13.60 (100m hurdles), 114-0 (javelin), 5-10 (high jump) and 2:21 (800m).
High School: Three-time GHSA 7-A state runner-up in the high jump…Eight-time High Point Award at the state meet…Named the Indians MVP…Won the Meet of Champions as a senior…Also played basketball at East Coweta.
Personal: Born Feb. 23, 1998 in Madrid, Spain…Daughter of Trina Whisby and Glen Whisby…Father, Glen, played professional basketball overseas and the family lived in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Russia, France and Poland during that stretch…Brother, Glen, played football at Friends University…Majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
