On the game...
"We had a bunch of fouls in the second half, playing from behind. When you exert that much energy, at times, young people have a tendency to make some errant decisions. Some of our fouls were just a little bit out of character, but again, we used so much energy and effort to put ourselves in that position. 60-70 feet from the rim, we had two back-to-back fouls that just weren't solid decisions. It was probably our worst wall-up game in terms of being the first jumper off the floor with regard to falling for shot fakes, something we worked on the last two days. Our focus level there wasn't good enough to come on the road and win in the SEC. They lived at the foul line, and we tried different ball screen coverages. No matter what happened, when we had neutralized their actions, it came down to guarding the bounce one-on-one and just did not do a very good job of it. Couldn't get stops. Did enough. You come into Vandy against a top-25 defense, and you score 80, you're doing some good things. Our attention to detail offensively wasn't great either. Our ATO focus has got to get better against high-level defenses, something that we'll address tomorrow. We'll start with film. Got to get on the same page. We've got to communicate better offensively. Again, the biggest problem was just being able to generate stops defensively and keep them off the foul line, all part of it."
