Key Quotes:
Head Coach Mike White
Opening Statement
"It's a good win for us. I thought our turnout was nice, to celebrate our seniors and our non-seniors. Overall, it was a good atmosphere. South Carolina was really good offensively in the first half. They were really good early second half and made it really interesting, despite the fact that our first half offensively was about as sharp as we've been. Those guys at that program is always going to be as sold and as prepared positionally, with their attention to detail and their physicality. They make you shoot jump shots, and we struggled at the rim at times, and we made some threes. We got it going there; we passed it really well. 23 assists to six turnovers; you're not going to get that most nights in the SEC. I liked our level of unselfishness; our attention to detail, defensively, wasn't quite as sharp as theirs. We just made shots and any win in the SEC is a big and those guys are really capable."

On what these games mean to him after playing at Cal…
"Yeah, it's everything I could ask for. This is exactly what I wanted when I chose to come to Georgia, playing at home, having a chance to go deep in the tournament and be around great guys. And that's exactly what it is. I love playing with this group and the fact that there's high stakes on every game doesn't scare me. It's exactly what I want."

On the amount of bench points…
"I mean, it's really just a stay ready mentality. Always trying to be ready when your number's called. Really just staying locked into what the coaches are saying and what the coaches are doing. When you stay ready, you'll play good."
