ATHENS, Ga. – After a three-and-a-half-hour rain delay, the 15^th-ranked University of Georgia soccer team fell, 1-0, to the Wyoming Cowgirls Thursday evening before 364 spectators at the Turner Soccer Complex

The decider for Wyoming (3-1-1) came early in the first half in the 11^th minute when Cowgirls redshirt junior Alyssa Glover capitalized on an assist from freshman Addison Keen.
Freshman defender Ayda Pannell earned her first career start for Georgia (4-2-1) in the contest, going 78 minutes with two shots.
Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Folliard recorded two saves in the match in seventh consecutive start.
Junior midfielder Kiera Staude matched her season-high total in shots with four in tonight's contest.

"This is another tough one. All the delays killed some your atmosphere, killed some of your energy, but I thought we came out and played pretty well, to be fair. Just really unfortunate. We hit the crossbar. We hit the post. We hit everything but the back of the net, so I have to give them a lot of credit. They were resilient. Wyoming came in and did a good job. This is a tough one for us because I thought we did enough to win the game."
