Key Quotes
On Brennan Hudson's performance…
"I talked to our team yesterday and today about courage, and I think Brennan did that today. Brennan showed a lot of courage. I told the guys sometimes when things aren't going your way it takes one guy to get up there and do something. Brennan did that."
On the energy in the dugout after success at the plate…
"The energy in the dugout went through the roof. Everybody pulls for everybody and the energy went through the roof and we needed that."

On his home run in the win...
"I think it just goes into preparation. They preach extra base hits. They're just trying to do damage when we do make contact. Obviously the pitchers are great when we go out there. We've just got to make it count, and I think I've been able to do that this year. It's been a blessing, but eventually, I'm hoping for a single to come down."
#9 Kolby Branch | Jr. | INF
On getting to watch and play against his brother, Kyle Branch
"He was hitting in the eighth inning… and I was sitting there almost tearing up…that's my brother out there. He's sitting there doing the same thing I'm doing and it's pretty cool to see."
