- Dallis Goodnight and Sarah Gordon each had two hits in the game, combining for four of Georgia's six hits. Jaydyn Goodwin and Gordon drove in both of Georgia's runs.
- Rachel Gibson suffered the loss in her start. She pitched one and a third innings, allowing three runs on two hits. She walked three and struck out two.
- Lilli Backes and Randi Roelling each pitched in relief on Wednesday.
- This is Mercer's second-ever win over the Bulldogs in the series. The other was on April 20, 2018 in Athens.
