GAME ONE FAST FACTS
- Randi Roelling suffered the loss in game one of the doubleheader, allowing six runs, only one earned, in three and a third innings. She struck out three and walked five.
- Destin Howard and Ella Troutt each pitched out of the pen in the first game.
- Tyler Ellison, Dallis Goodnight, Sarah Gordon, and Hannah Davila combined for Georgia's four hits in game one.
- Jaydyn Goodwin and Sarah Gordon each homered and finished 2-for-3 with two RBI.
- Lilli Backes suffered the loss, working four and a third in her start. She allowed nine runs on nine hits. She struck out three and walked just one. Rachel Gibson pitched the final two and two-thirds innings.
- Goodwin and Gordon hit back-to-back home runs to go ahead 4-0 in the first inning. It's the first time this season a Bulldog duo has accomplished that. The last time was Jayda Kearney and Sara Mosley against Florida on May 10, 2024.
- Gordon provided an RBI infield single in the bottom of the fifth to cut into the TAMU lead, 10-5.
