Georgia Equestrian to Travel for Meets Against No. 7 TCU and No. 4 Texas A&M

ATHENS – The No. 1 ranked Georgia equestrian team will travel to the Lone Star state to take on No. 7 TCU at Bear Creek Farms on Friday at 11 a.m. ET. The Mane Dawgs will then head to College Station to take on fourth-ranked Texas A&M on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Georgia returns to action following a win against second-ranked South Carolina, 13-6, in Bishop, where freshman Avery Taylor was named Most Outstanding Performer in with a 74-point performance.
The Bulldogs also defeated No. 9 UC Davis 15-3 and swept the MOPs. Maggie Bresch earned her second MOP after tallying a 92.5-point ride in the Flat, the 10th highest score in program history. Liza Cram, Cadence Eger and Abbey Zawisza also received Most Outstanding Performer nods in their respective events.
The Mane Dawgs leads the overall series 8-7 against the Horned Frogs. When the teams met last in 2024, TCU walked away victorious 10-8. This weekend marks the first time the two teams have met in Burleson since 2020. Georgia owns a 26-16 record against Texas A&M. The last time the two competed was in the semifinal round of the 2025 NCEA National Championship on April 18 in Ocala. The Bulldogs walked away with the win 16-4 and went on to take home the title.
