On the atmosphere…
"First, the fans. They were loud and energetic. Also, I thought the energy that our team put in to the game fed the fans as much as they fed us. We have not had that type of energy in a really long time. It was necessary and one of the reasons why we won."
On Mya Townes' goal…
"Mya has been knocking on the door for us all season. To find one for her that is great. To get that for all the work she has put in. Especially defensively, she has been the lead for so many games. I am happy for her because she put the work in. She does all the finishing in practice, all the extra stuff. She has done what she has needed to do. I am so happy for our team, we found some good combinations in those moments when we planned. We needed it to finish that one off and that was a big one."

On her winning goal…
"As soon as the ball came to my feet, I've been told many times to just rip it. No matter how much space I get, it could even be the smallest window, but even the smallest space can make a big difference. I just took my opportunity when it came to me. I had enough power to put it away. This team just rallies so hard and looking around just seeing everyone's face and seeing how excited everyone for me was a moment I will definitely never forget."
#14 Hannah Folliard | GK | Fr.
On her approach to the match…
"Our approach to the game was just fight hard, fight to win. And obviously, we did that, and I think a big part of it was just wanting it more. That's kind of something we've been working on this past week and this past month and these past games is like, we felt like we had stuff left in the tanks, so then we're like, just empty the tank out and really fight for what's ours, and we did that."

Fast Facts
- Georgia (8-3-4, 4-1-2 SEC) pressed Arkansas (7-3-3, 5-1-1 SEC) from the jump, posting a shot on frame in the opening minute of play from freshman forward Lily Kate Elphick, who was making her first career start. The Bulldogs tallied four shots alone in the first four minutes of play en route to 15 for the evening, the most for Georgia in an SEC match this season. The Bulldogs eventually outshot the Razorbacks, 15-7, and dominated in corner kicks by a 10-3 margin.
- In the second half, Arkansas looked to assert itself, but Georgia stemmed the tide as freshman forward Mya Townes scored her third goal of the season, taking a pass from freshman teammate Hailey Gordon and sliding it past Razorback goalkeeper Evelyn Vitali for the winner. Georgia has now scored 18 of its 31 goals this season in the second half, including eight in conference play.
- Friday's match was a physical affair with the two sides combining for 22 fouls, with Georgia nearly matching its season high with 12. Arkansas head coach Colby Hale was sent off with a red card in the 77th minute after earning his second caution for dissent.
- The Razorbacks made one final charge in the closing minutes, but strong goalkeeping from freshman Hannah Folliard preserved the clean sheet. For Folliard, it was her fourth solo shutout of the season, as well as the seventh overall for Georgia.
- For Georgia, Friday's victory was its first over a top 10 team since besting Arkansas by the same 1-0 score in the 2023 SEC Tournament final. It was also the first home victory over a top 10 opponent since a 2-1 win over Texas A&M on Sept. 27, 2015. Furthermore, the Bulldogs improved to 10-1-1 in Friday night matches under Keidane McAlpine.
