CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 21 UCLA 2-4 in the consolation match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend Harvard regional on Sunday at the Murr Tennis Center.

FAST FACTS:

Doubles pairing Freddy Blaydes/Oscar Pinto-Sansano captured their first win together, defeating UCLA's Kaylan Biguan/Rudy Quan 6-2. Niels Ratiu and Miguel Perez Peña clinched the doubles point 7-6(3) in a tiebreak fight against Spencer Johnson/Emon van Loben Sels for the Bulldogs.
No. 44 Miguel Perez Peña, a senior, conquered Kaylan Bigun 7-5, 6-4 on court three to win Georgia's second point against the Bruins.
No.16 Thomas Paulsell dropped to No. 13 Spencer Johnson 6-2, 7-6(3) in a battle to the end.
Freshman Gabriele Vulpitta returned to the court for Georgia for his third career singles match. After falling to Aadarsh Tripathi 6-1, 6-3, Vulpitta has a 2-1 record.
The Bulldogs maintain a 14-10 all-time series edge over the Bruins following today's contest.
