Georgia Narrowly Falls to No. 4 Wake Forest, 4-3

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 4 Wake Forest, 4-3, at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.

- Wake Forest took the doubles point after grabbing wins on courts one and three, each by a 6-4 decision
- After trailing 0-3, the Bulldogs picked up wins on courts five, three and two, in order, to level the match at 3-3. Freshman Charlie Robertson clinched the win for the Demon Deacons on court four.
- No. 14 Thomas Paulsell/Ryan Colby earned their highest ranked doubles win as a duo and individually after defeating No. 4 Luca Pow/Luciano Tacchi 6-3 on court two.
- Colby also earned his highest ranked singles win defeating No. 7 DK Suresh 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-4 on court two.
- Senior Miguel Perez Peña earned his third ranked win of the year with his victory over No. 115 Ioannis Xilas.
- Despite the result, the Bulldogs maintain 16-6 edge in the all-time series between the two schools.
