Georgia Women’s Tennis Unveils 2024 Fall Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's tennis team has released its 2024 fall schedule, head coach Drake Bernstein announced on Tuesday.
With select players set to scatter around 12 competitions over three months, the team will begin its fall campaign with two collegiate tournaments starting at the Battle in the Bay Classic on Sept. 12-15 in San Francisco, Calif., as well as the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic on Sept. 13-15 in Furman, S.C.
After a two-week break, the Bulldogs will look forward to the ITA All-Americans on Sept. 20-29 in Cary, N.C.
Heading into October, Georgia will compete in five different professional tournaments, with select players accepted to each respective draw.
The Bulldogs will begin with the W75 Edmond (Oct. 6-13) in Edmond, Okla., followed by the W100 Macon (Oct. 13-20) in Macon, W35 Hilton Head (Oct. 20-27) in Hilton Head, S.C., W100 Tyler (Oct. 20-27) in Tyler, Texas before finishing with the W35 Norman (Oct. 27-Nov. 3) in Norman, Okla.
Additionally, Georgia will wrap up the month of October with a short trip to the ITA Regionals on Oct. 10-14 in Atlanta.
In November, the Bulldogs will open the month at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Nov. 1-2 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Georgia will also play host to one of four ITA Sectionals across the country on Nov. 7-10 in Athens, serving as the final ITA competition before the NCAA Singles & Doubles Tournament on Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas.
