ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (14-4, 9-3 SEC) defeated Kentucky (9-12, 1-11 SEC) at home, extending its unbeaten streak at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex this season.

Georgia secured the doubles point with commanding wins on courts 1 and 2. No. 15 Anastasiia Lopata and Patricija Paukstyte opened with a 6-2 victory over Asuncion Jadue and Reese Sager.
No. 7 Deniz Dilek and Aysegul Mert clinched the doubles point in dominant fashion, defeating Donna Le Roux and Julia Zhu, 6-2.
The Bulldogs carried that momentum into singles, as No. 7 Mert put Georgia on the board with a decisive 6-2, 6-2 win over No. 91 Zhu on court 2.
No. 31 Lopata added another strong performance, earning a 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 72 Zoe Hammond on court 6.
No. 46 Anastasiia Gureva sealed the match for Georgia on Court 4, battling to a 6-2, 7-5 win.
The Bulldogs extended their all-time advantage over Kentucky to 44-10.
