Recapping Action
Georgia dropped its first SEC series of the season, dropping two of three games to No. 20 Arkansas over the weekend in Athens. Georgia's late-inning comeback in game one on Saturday fell short, dropping the opener 3-2. The Bulldogs bounced back to even the series on Sunday, taking the game 8-2. A five-run seventh inning put the finale out of reach for Georgia as Arkansas took the contest 8-2 and the series.
 
A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia hits the road for an SEC series at No. 6/4 Tennessee this weekend. The series against the Lady Vols will begin Friday, April 5 in Knoxville at 6 p.m. Saturday's noon matchup will air on SEC Network with Sunday's 11 a.m. game airing on ESPN2.
 
Sara Mosley: The RBI Machine
Sara Mosley currently ranks second in the SEC with 46 total RBI this season, which ranks sixth in the country. Her 1.31 RBI per game is third in the conference and 10th in the country. She has recorded nine multi-RBI games this season, four of which she drove in five or more runs. Her 208 career RBI rank sixth all-time at Georgia, and she is currently sixth among active Division I players.
 
Leadoff Lyndi Finds New Home in Order
Lyndi Rae Davis has found a new spot at the top of the Georgia batting order. Since taking over the leadoff role on March 8, Davis has drawn 20 walks in 17 games and put together a .500 on-base clip. She leads Georgia with 30 walks this season. Her 0.88 walks per game ranks third in the SEC and eighth in the nation.
 
Walk This Way
After drawing 23 walks in the Ole Miss series, Georgia rose to seventh in the country in total walks and third in the SEC. In total, Georgia has drawn 147 walks this season, led by Lyndi Rae Davis' 30 free bases.
