Recapping Action
Georgia run-ruled the Kennesaw State Owls in five innings Wednesday, 10-1. Tyler Ellison recorded her first career multi-hit game with two hits, driving in a career-best four RBI to lead the offense. A two-home run day by Sydney Chambley also highlighted the offense. Along with Ellison and Chambley, Sara Mosley, Jayda Kearney, and Jaydyn Goodwin all had two hits. Shelby Walters pitched two innings in her start, allowing an unearned run on three hits with two strikeouts. Rachel Gibson, Destin Howard, and Riley Orcutt each pitched an inning in relief. Orcutt (1-0) was awarded the win as the most effective reliever, picking up her first win of the season.
A Look at What's Ahead
The Bulldogs will host the Mercer Bears in midweek action on Wednesday at Jack Turner Stadium. First pitch against the Bears is set for 6 p.m. Georgia then hits the road for an SEC series at No. 4 Tennessee. The series against the Lady Vols will begin April 5 in Knoxville.

Arkansas assistant coach Danielle Gibson Whorton will make her return to Athens this weekend. Gibson Whorton served on Tony Baldwin's staff as volunteer coach in 2023. Additionally, Arkansas grad manager Peyton Nobles was a team manager for the Bulldogs from 2022-23.
Sara Mosley: The RBI Machine
Sara Mosley currently leads the SEC with 45 total RBI this season with that number ranking fourth in the country. Her 1.41 RBI per game also leads the conference and is sixth in the country. Lyndi Rae Davis has found a new spot at the top of the Georgia batting order. Since taking over the leadoff role on March 8, Davis has drawn 19 walks in 14 games and put together a .564 on-base clip. She leads Georgia with 29 walks this season. Her 0.94 walks per game ranks second in the SEC and sixth in the nation.
Walk This Way
After drawing 23 walks in the Ole Miss series, Georgia rose to sixth in the country in total walks and third in the SEC. Total, Georgia has drawn 139 walks this season, led by Lyndi Rae Davis' 29 free bases.
