» Georgia returns to Athens for a four-game home stand, beginning with Prairie View A&M Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
» The Lady Bulldogs split a pair of games at last week's WBCA Showcase, taking down Tulsa, 60-44, before falling to Penn State, 67-47.
» Tuesday's contest marks just the second all-time meeting between the two programs. The squads last met almost 17 years ago to the day back on Nov. 23, 2007 in Freeport, Bahamas. Georgia defeated Prairie View A&M, 78-44 in that matchup.
» Georgia has held four of its first seven opponents below 50 points this season. Penn State came into Saturday's game averaging 91 ppg, but was held to just 67 points against the Lady Bulldogs.
» It was announced last week that Georgia inked the No.18-ranked recruiting class in 2025, marking the second-straight year the team has signed a top-20 class. Georgia was the only SEC team to sign four ESPN top-100 prospects in 2024 -- a class that ranked No. 16 nationally.
» Freshman guard Trinity Turner is off to one of the best starts in program history. She scored in double figures in each of her first three games, the first Lady Bulldog freshman to do so since National Freshman of the Year Tasha Humphrey in 2004. She then led all scorers with 28 points at Georgia Tech, the most points in a game for a Georgia freshman since Gabby Connally in 2018 (37 at Texas A&M)
» Freshman Mia Woolfolk led all Georgia rookies with 18 points and 13 rebounds in her debut against NC Central. It is just the third time in program history a freshman has recorded a double-double in her debut. Janet Harris in 1981 and Christi Thomas in 2000 are the only other two to accomplish that feat.
