- #2 Dasha Vidmanova opened the morning in the singles round of 16 where she faced off against Pepperdine's 9-16 Savannah Broadus. Vidmanova jumped out to a flying start, taking a 3-0 lead early before closing out the first set 6-2. Despite a slower start in the second set to trail 3-2, Vidmanova secured the next four games to take the set and match 6-2, 6-3.
- The victory marked back-to-back seasons with Vidmanova advancing to the NCAA singles quarterfinals.
- Coming off a round of 32 victory to open the doubles bracket, Aysegul Mert and Guillermina Grant faced off against Virginia's Elaine Chervinsky and Melodie Collard in the doubles round of 16. Despite falling 2-6 in the first set, the Bulldog duo battled back in a tight second set to win 6-4 and level the match to force a third set breaker. A short lead early quickly became a back-and-forth battle at 6-6, but Mert and Grant came up just short as they fell in the third set breaker and in the match 2-6, 6-4, 0(7)-1(10).
