Bulldogs Release 2026 Spring Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia women's tennis has announced its 2026 spring match slate, head coach Drake Bernstein announced on Wednesday. It will feature 8 home matches at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex and 10 matches on the road.
Returning from last year's squad are seniors Haley Gaudette, Anastasiia Lopata, Sofia Rojas and Alexandra Vecic along with junior Aysegul Mert and sophomore Hayden Mulberry.
Action will begin on Jan. 24-25 with ITA Kickoff Weekend where Georgia will host San Diego State, Washington State and Maryland. Georgia will face Maryland on Saturday, Jan. 24, in a first-round matchup while San Diego State and Washington State will meet in the other regional semifinal. The two winners will play in the Regional Championship match on Sunday, Jan. 25 with a ticket to the ITA Indoor National Championships on the line. The two losers from Saturday will also play a consolation match on Sunday.
Following that, the Bulldogs will hit the road to face in-state rival Georgia Tech on Friday, Jan. 30. They will then travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the second time this season to take on North Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 1.
Georgia will then gear up for a potential trip Midwest for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships running from Feb. 6-10 hosted by the University of Illinois and Northwestern University in Champaign and Chicago, Ill.
SEC action will commence on Sunday, Feb. 22 in Columbia, S.C. against South Carolina. Along with South Carolina, the Bulldogs will hit the road to face Vanderbilt, Missouri, Texas A&M, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Alabama this season. Georgia's home SEC slate features matchups with Ole Miss, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi State.
Entering postseason competition, the 2026 SEC Tournament will run from April 15-19 hosted by the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. Rounding out the spring season, NCAA Regionals will take place on May 1-2, followed by NCAA Super Regionals on May 8 and the NCAA Championships on May 14-17 hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga.
