Gureva Advances on NCAA Singles Championships Day One

ORLANDO, Florida — No. 92 Anastasiia Gureva dominated in the opening day of the NCAA Individual Championships, highlighted by a clutch straight-set win over Notre Dame's Bianca Molnar 6-4, 7-6(4) while No. 9 Anastasiia Lopata and No. 28 Aysegul Mert struggled in two tightly contested three-set battles ultimately falling on day one.
