Georgia went up 2-0 against the Sooners last Friday, but Oklahoma stormed back to win the match in five sets. Georgia went to Austin and took the opening set from the Longhorns and battled closely in the next three, but fell in four.

A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia hosts Tennessee on Friday, Nov. 1 and No. 14 Kentucky on Nov. 3 to wrap up its homestand. The Dogs and Lady Vols square off at 7 p.m. on Friday with Sunday's match set for 2 p.m. Georgia then begins a four-match road stretch beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Missouri.

8,376 Pack Stegeman for Georgia State Record
The University of Georgia welcomed 8,736 Bulldog faithful to Stegeman Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 11. The number not only shattered the program attendance record, but also set a new mark for an NCAA volleyball match in the state of Georgia, topping the previous mark of 5,303 set by Georgia Tech in 2023. Georgia defeat South Carolina in a five-set thriller.

Aces Wild
Once again, the Bulldogs are among the top serving teams in the league, ranking third with 1.76 aces per set and third in the SEC with 130 total service aces. Georgia has topped 10 aces in a match three times in 2024. Georgia set a program record with 19 service aces against Washington on Sept. 7. The new mark topped the previous record of 17 set in 2017. Sophie Fischer (7) and Erykah Lovett (6) each set a career best at the service line in the match.
