Georgia to Return to Stegeman Coliseum
The University of Georgia Athletic Association announced Georgia volleyball will return to Stegeman Coliseum in October. As soon as those updates are completed, UGAAA will host all remaining volleyball matches in Stegeman Coliseum.

Fischer Named SEC Offensive Player of the Week
The SEC named Sophie Fischer as the Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 15. It was the fifth SEC weekly award for Fischer in her career and first of the 2023 campaign. Fischer tallied 4.0 kills per set guiding the Bulldogs to a 2-1 record over the weekend at the Georgia Tech Classic including a win over No. 10 Georgia Tech Friday evening. Fischer hit .297 in 12 sets, registering 48 total kills with four aces, and averaging 5.17 points per set. On the net, she put up 18 total blocks for a 1.5 average.

Aces Wild
Going in to the Bulldog Classic, Georgia ranked sixth in the SEC with 1.74 aces per set. After serving up 24 aces over the tournament, the Dogs climbed to fourth in the league with a 2.04 average while also moving up 73 spots nationally to 34th. Another 23 aces in Atlanta put Georgia just outside the top 25 in the category nationally, sitting 26th.

Approaching Double Grand Status
Kacie Evans is rapidly approaching double grand status at Georgia. Evans became the 19th member of Georgia's 1,000 Kill Club last season. She is 14 digs away from 1,000 in her career. Currently with 1,797 career points, Evans is on track to join all-time greats Priscilla Pacheco (3,018.0), Julia Petruschke (2,264.5), Nikki Nicholson (2,157.0), and Maria Taylor (2,020.0) in the 2,000 Point Club. She now ranks 10th all time in career kills with 1,534.
