Let's Recap
Georgia will look to bounce back from two losses on the road at Auburn last week. Georgia fell in four sets to begin the road series. The Bulldogs fell behind 0-2 in Sunday's match but battled back to win sets three and four and force a fifth set. Georgia found match point at 14-11, but Auburn rallied to hold the Dogs and steal the set and the match. Georgia's serving game was strong in the series, registering 21 aces in nine sets. In all, the two matches featured 60 total ties with seven of the nine sets being decided by three points or less.

Aces Wild
Georgia has consistently had strong serving since Tom Black's arrival in Athens and 2022 has been no difference. Nationally, Georgia's 1.85 aces per set ranks 26th while checking in at second in the SEC. Georgia had a great series at the service line against Auburn, acing the Tigers 21 times in nine sets. Individually, Kacie Evans (0.41 aces/set) ranks third in the SEC.

Evans is Killing it
Kacie Evans' 3.92 kills per set ranks 51st in the country and fourth in the SEC. She's third in the conference with a 4.71 points per set average, a clip that currently ranks 33rd in the country.

The Great Wall of Fischer
Sophie Fischer has propelled herself toward the top of the country ranking 12th and the top of the SEC with 1.42 blocks per set. Her 91 total blocks ranks second in the league. As a team, Georgia's 2.49 blocks per set ranks fourth in the SEC. Georgia's block defense has helped hold opponents to a .182 hitting clip. Offensively, Fischer's .331 hitting percentage is eighth in the SEC.
