Georgia Hosts Wake Forest on Home Turf

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia soccer team returns to the Turner Soccer Complex to host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this Saturday in the home finale.
The match will kick off at 11 a.m. ET in Athens. Eighty (80) general admission seats will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wake Forest leads the overall series 3-3-1 over Georgia. The last time they met was in 2017 at the Turner Soccer Complex with the Demon Deacons defeating the Bulldogs 1-0.
On Monday, Georgia tied the University of Florida Gators during a non-conference, neutral site match in Atlanta, Ga. Both goals were scored during the first 15 minutes of the first half. Ashley Andersen, assisted by Abby Boyan, scored the solo goal for the Bulldogs. The Gators answered back 12 minutes later.
Next week, Georgia will finish off the 2020-21 regular season against North Carolina State. The match is set for 2:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
