No. 20 Georgia softball returns to Jack Turner Stadium to open a six-game homestand Wednesday against USC Upstate. The Bulldogs and Spartans will throw first pitch at 6 p.m.

2021 Georgia Softball Fan Attendance Policy
One hundred and fifty (150) free general admission seats will be available each game to the public on a first-come, first-served basis at softball games. Gates will officially open one hour prior to first pitch. The player pass list will continue to be utilized for student-athlete families and guests at Jack Turner Stadium this season. Social distancing measures will be in effect while in the stadium and face coverings will be required. Only cashless payments will be accepted at Jack Turner Stadium for concessions. A Look at What's Ahead
The Bulldogs will host No. 10 Arkansas in conference action beginning Friday, April 16 in a three-game series at Jack Turner Stadium. Friday's opener will begin at 6 p.m. Georgia will then host top-ranked and undefeated Oklahoma in a midweek doubleheader next Tuesday. 
 
Mosley Lifts Bulldogs Past No. 10 Kentucky on the Road
Sophomore Sara Mosley was named the SEC Co-Newcomer of the Week on April 13 for her efforts of lifting Georgia to a series victory over 10th-ranked Kentucky in Lexington. Mosley delivered a three-run home run in the seventh inning to cap a seven-run comeback and lift the Bulldogs to a 9-8 victory in game two of the series. In the finale, Mosley put Georgia ahead 2-0 in the first then hit a two-run home run later in the game to widen Georgia's lead to 5-0. 
 
Avant One Hits Gators, Records 500th-Career Strikeout 
Graduate pitcher Mary Wilson Avant pitched a complete-game one-hitter in the series opener against No. 5 Florida April 3 at Jack Turner Stadium. Avant fanned six Gators in her performance and earned her 12th victory. Two days later, her sixth strikeout of the game topped the 500 mark in her career. She becomes only the sixth Bulldog to reach that milestone. 
 
Bordeau Has Solid Series Against Gators
Freshman catcher Payden Bordeau put together a solid series at the plate against No. 5 Florida. In the series opener, her first career home run was a two-run shot to tie the game. Georgia went on to topple the Gators 4-2. In the finale, a pair of singles was good enough for her first multi-hit game as a Bulldog. She concluded the series hitting .571 (4-for-7). 
 
Chambley for Three! 
Freshman Sydney Chambley currently co-leads the nation with six triples (tied with Kentucky's Kayla Kowalik). The number already ties for fifth-most in a season at Georgia. The record is 12 set by Nicole Barber in 2002. Barder holds the top-three spots in the single-season category (12, 10, 8) and holds Georgia's career record of 35. 
 
Bulldogs Dig the Long Ball
Georgia ranks 10th in the country with 1.65 home runs per game, hitting 56 home runs in 34 games. The Bulldogs tied a season-high five home runs against Missouri (3/20) including four in the first inning. The Bulldogs hit three-straight in the inning, the first time since 2018 against Florida. Georgia's .547 slugging percentage is 19th nationally. 
 
Georgia in the Polls
The Bulldogs held steady at No. 20 in the NFCA Coaches Poll while rising two spots to 20 in the USA Softball Poll. Georgia heald steady at 20 in the Softball America poll and picked up a spot, rising to 24 in the D1Softball poll.
 
Avant Rules the Circle
Graduate pitcher Mary Wilson Avant has cemented herself as the Bulldogs' ace this season. She ranks ninth in the nation with 14 victories in the circle and her 141 strikeouts ranks 16th. She's averaging 8.5 strikeouts per seven innings.
