Brown Reaches 3-meter Finals at Zones

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Tally Brown advanced to the 3-meter springboard final Monday afternoon as the University of Georgia diving team continued competition at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Brown finished 15th overall on the springboard with a total score of 534.90, posting a score of 256.15 in the final session that was highlighted by a 58.80 on her third dive. In prelims, she placed 14th with a score of 278.75, ranking fifth after her first three dives. Miami's Emma Gullstrand took the overall title with a final score of 728.80.
Brown was joined in prelims by teammates Meghan Wenzel and Ellie Crump. After reaching the 1-meter final yesterday, Wenzel placed 23rd with a score of 253.40, while Crump finished 26th with a mark of 251.25.
The Zone B Championships conclude tomorrow in Greensboro with competition starting at 10:30 a.m. Wenzel will compete in the women's platform, followed by Allen in the men's 1-meter. Live results will be available on DiveMeets.com.
