October 08, 2021 | Men's Tennis
TULSA, Okla. — The Georgia men's tennis duo of Philip Henning and Hamish Stewart saw their fantastic run in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships come to an end Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
A day after beating Georgia's Tech's No. 8-ranked tandem of Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel, the Georgia combo fell to Tennessee's Emile Hudd and Shunsuke Mitsui, 6-2, 6-4.
In addition to Henning and Stewart's strong week, the Bulldogs were the only team in the nation to have three singles players reach the main draw.
The rest of the Georgia squad is competing in the Bulldog Invitational this weekend in Athens.
