Bulldogs Begin 2021 Campaign at FSU Invitational

Tallahassee, Fla. – The No. 7 Georgia women's tennis team is set to kick off the 2021 spring season with a series of hidden duals at the FSU Invitational hosted by Florida State and will feature the Bulldogs and Clemson from Jan. 22-24.
 
The weekend session will be broken up day to day, similar to the tournaments that were played this fall season were structured. Friday will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature doubles followed by singles. Saturday will also begin at 10 a.m., but two doubles sessions will be played followed by singles. Sunday will start at 9 a.m. and will be up to the coaches on how they want to format the final day.
 
Georgia returns all athletes from the 2020 season with the addition of true freshman Ariana Arseneault from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Arseneault went 6-3 in singles during the fall season and 4-5 in doubles with various partners.
 
Georgia will begin dual play on Wednesday, Jan. 27 playing host to Georgia State at 2 p.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs' indoor matches are closed to the public. Details concerning fan attendance at outdoor matches will be determined on a later date.
