Eight Bulldogs Named To SEC Academic Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. — Eight members of the Georgia women's golf team have been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the 2019-20. That tally is one shy of the program's record of nine honorees in 2012-13. As a team, the Bulldogs posted a 3.66 grade point average for the 2020 spring semester.
Gabriela Coello, Jo Hua Hung and Kelsey Kurnett were featured on the SEC's Spring Academic Honor Roll, while Caroline Craig, Alison Crenshaw, Céleste Dao, Caterina Don and Zoë Walker were featured on the league's ledger First-Year honorees.
Coello and Kurnett were seniors during the 2019-20 season who graduated with their degrees in Sport Management and Finance, respectively. Hung is a sophomore majoring in Sport Management. Crenshaw and Walker are junior college transfers. Crenshaw is a Sport Management major, and Walker is studying Marketing. Of Georgia's freshmen, Craig is majoring in Sport Management, Dao is majoring in Finance and Don is majoring in Mathematics.
Any student‐athlete who participates in an SEC championship sport or a student‐athlete who participates in a sport listed on his/her institution's
NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll. The criteria for the SEC Academic Honor roll include student-athletes who: have a grade point average of 3.00 or above for either the preceding academic year or a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above. Those student-athletes also must either receive an athletics scholarship, be a "letterwinner" or have been on the roster for two seasons. First year student‐athletes in all sports may be named to the Honor Roll at the conclusion of their first full academic year on campus.
