Beth Climbs Leaderboard At Ann Arbor Regional

Athens, Ga. — Georgia's Trinity Beth carded a 3-over 74 in Tuesday's second round of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional and ascended seven spots on the leaderboard at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

Five Fast Facts:
• Beth climbed from 42nd to 35th with Tuesday's effort.
• Beth teed off from No. 10 and played the back side of the course first in the second round. She turned at 2-over and slipped to 4-over through 13 holes before a birdie at No. 7, a 358-yard par-4.
• Beth is a freshman who joined the Bulldogs in January as a mid-year enrollee and has posted par-or-better tallies in 11 of 19 rounds at Georgia (57.9 percent).
• Ashley Yun of Northwestern is the individual leader and owns a four-shot advantage over the rest of the field.
• The Ann Arbor Regional is one of six tournaments being contested Monday-Wednesday. From each Regional, the top-5 teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will go on to compete in the NCAA Championships on May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

Up Next:
The third and final round of the Ann Arbor Regional will be on Wednesday. Beth will again tee off from No. 10 at 9:50 a.m., and she will be paired with Lauren Sung of Michigan and Yanah Rolston of IU Indianapolis. Live scoring for the tournament can be found here.
