Athens, Ga. — Georgia freshman Trinity Beth carded a 4-over 75 in the opening round of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional at the University of Michigan Golf Course on Monday.
Five Fast Facts:
• Beth is tied for 42nd on the leaderboard with two rounds remaining in the 54-hole tourney.
• Beth started the day steady, with five consecutive pars before a bogey at No. 6. She posted a trio of pars and made the turn at 1-over.
• Beth bogeyed No. 12, No. 14 and No. 15 en route to the clubhouse and signed for a 4-over tally.
• Elise Lee of Southern Cal and Ashley Yun of Northwestern share the individual lead in Ann Arbor.
• The Ann Arbor Regional is one of six tournaments being contested Monday-Wednesday. From each Regional, the top-5 teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will go on to compete in the NCAA Championships on May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
