FORT WORTH, Texas --- After earning the program's highest score in a decade, the University of Georgia gymnastics team is poised to compete at the NCAA National Championship April 19-20 at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.Â
Â
The GymDogs will compete in the second semifinal on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Georgia faces Oklahoma, Denver, and Oregon State, and will begin competition on bars. LSU, Michigan, Utah, and UCLA compete in the earlier session, which begins at 1 p.m. ET. The top two teams from each semifinal on Friday will advance to the National Championship Finals on Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU. Each event will also be streamed individually through WatchESPN

Georgia leads the country with 10 NCAA titles, with five coming from 2005-2009. Georgia leads all other teams nationally in number of individual NCAA champions with 40. Georgia head coach Courtney Kupets Carter has won the most individual national championships in history with nine.Â
