GymDogs Unveil 2027 Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia head gymnastics coach Cécile Canqueteau-Landi has announced the GymDogs' schedule for the upcoming 2027 season, slated to begin on Jan. 10.
The 2027 season will be Canqueteau-Landi's third at the helm of the GymDogs. In just two seasons, Canqueteau-Landi has brought the Georgia GymDogs back to national prominence. Under her guidance, six GymDogs have earned nine NCAA All-America honors, four have earned six WCGA Regular Season All-America citations, and 10 gymnasts have been named to the All-SEC Team. In 2026, the GymDogs made their first appearance in the NCAA National Championship Semifinals in seven seasons.
Georgia begins the season at the 2027 Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad in Greenville, South Carolina. The GymDogs will square off against Clemson, North Carolina, and Utah in the season opener.
The GymDogs' home schedule begins Friday, Jan. 22, when the Oklahoma Sooners come to Athens. Georgia will welcome Arkansas to town on Friday, Feb. 5.
Stegeman Coliseum will host a double-meet weekend when the GymDogs welcome Kentucky on Friday, Feb. 19, and Clemson on Sunday, Feb. 21.
The final regular-season home meet will be against rival Alabama on Sunday, March 14.
Georgia will be on the road for SEC matchups at Missouri (Friday, Jan. 15), at LSU (Friday, Jan. 29), at Florida (Friday, Feb. 12), and at Auburn (Friday, March 5).
The GymDogs will participate in the Metroplex Challenge on Sunday, Feb. 7, in Fort Worth, taking on Missouri, NC State, and Oklahoma. Georgia will travel to Clemson for the Clemson Quad Meet on Friday, Feb. 26, facing off against the host Tigers, Auburn, and Pitt.
The 2027 SEC Championships will be held in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, March 20.
Athens and Stegeman Coliseum will be one of four hosts for NCAA Regionals this season, March 31-April 3.
The NCAA National Semifinals and Championships will take place April 15 and 17 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
The date for GymDog Debut and meet promotions will be announced at a later date.
Season ticket renewals will open in October. New season ticket accounts are being accepted now and can be purchased here.
