HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — Freshman Jenny Bae posted a 2-under 69 to lead the Georgia women's golf team to a 10-over 294 in Saturday's second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The Bulldogs are tied for 11th at Long Cove Club on a leaderboard that features five top-10 and a dozen top-25 teams.

Georgia's counting quartet on Saturday also included a 73 from Jo-Hua Hung and a pair of 76s from Harmie Constantino and Rinko Mitsunaga. Overall, Bae is tied for 10th at 1-over 143, Hung is tied for 13th at 144, Constantino and Mitsunaga are both tied for 56th at 152 and Gabriela Coello is tied for 79th at 156.

"Jenny played really well. She had a great round of golf on a very demanding golf course," head coach Josh Brewer said. "Jo had another very solid round, and Harmie fought back to finish with a birdie that counted. There were a lot of very positive things today. We still have a chance to move up the leaderboard tomorrow. We're going to look at this like what we'd face at the NCAA Championships when we're trying to get to match play. We have to go out and win tomorrow."

The Bulldogs are 26 shots off the lead but just eight strokes from fifth.

Georgia teed of from No. 10 and played the back side first on Saturday. Bae had five-consecutive pars before a birdie at No. 15. She gave that stroke at No. 18 but rebounded with additional birdies at No. 5 and No. 8.

No. 19 Florida State shot 3-under 281 on Saturday and owns an eight-shot lead over No. 3 Duke in the team field. Rounding out the leaderboard are No. 13 Wake Forest at 574, No. 10 South Carolina at 580, No. 23 Furman and LSU both at 583, No. 4 UCLA at 584, No. 7 Vanderbilt and No. 11 Auburn at 586, No. 14 Virginia at 590, the Bulldogs and No. 6 Arkansas at 591, No. 15 Northwestern at 595, No. 16 Alabama at 601, Baylor at 602, North Carolina at 604 and Oklahoma State at 606.
