GAME NOTES

ATHENS, Ga. ---
The University of Georgia soccer team looks to extend its three-game unbeaten streak against the Vanderbilt Commodores on Friday, October 4 at 7 p.m. at the Turner Soccer Complex.

UNBEATEN STREAK
The Bulldogs are on a three-game unbeaten streak after defeating Furman, playing to a tie against LSU, and beating Missouri.

This is the longest unbeaten streak of the Lesesne era. The Bulldogs went on a five-game win streak in 2014.

CHAPMAN NAMED SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Chloe Chapman was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week after scoring two goals in Georgia's 5-1 win at Missouri. This marks the first SEC honor for the dual-sport athlete. Chapman is also a member of the Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team.

The Mitchellville, Maryland native leads Georgia in goals (5) and points (10). She is second on the team in total shots (27) and shots on goal (10), but has the best shot on goal percentage (.333) when taking more than one shot.

She is the first Bulldog since 2016 to score multiple goals against an SEC opponent and this is her second game of two goals this season.

LAST TIME OUT
Georgia used a collective offensive effort to defeat the Missouri Tigers, 5-1, at Walton Stadium last Sunday. Sophomore Dani Murguia, junior Ashley Andersen, senior Daria Stan, and freshman Chloe Chapman all contributed goals to the Bulldogs' SEC road victory. The Bulldogs took 13 total shots during the game with 11 being on frame.

The last time Georgia scored five goals against an SEC team was in 2006 at Alabama. The Bulldogs defeated the Crimson Tide, 5-1.

SCOUTING VANDERBILT
The Vanderbilt Commodores were ranked 15th last week, but dropped out of the top 25 after two losses to then No. 13/19 Arkansas and Florida.  The Commodores have utilized seven different starting lineups this season after multiple key players have suffered injuries. The Commodores have outscored opponents this season, 22-5.
