Georgia Set for Battle of the Bulldogs in Starkville

GAME NOTES
ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia soccer team will travel to Starkville, Mississippi for a Battle of the Bulldogs against Mississippi State on Sunday, October 20 at 5 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
LAST TIME OUT
After a scoreless first half, Georgia scored two unanswered goals in a comeback win over the Ole Miss Rebels with a final score of 2-1.
Trailing 1-0, junior Reagan Glisson scored the equalizer in the 70th minute, marking her fourth goal of the season. Less than two minutes later, a foul in the box gave the Bulldogs (6-6-2, 2-3-1 SEC) a penalty kick opportunity and Dani Murguia took the lead, resulting in a win for Georgia.
A COMEBACK WIN
The last time Georgia came back to defeat an SEC team was September 14, 2014 against Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs defeated the Commodores 3-1.
GOING BACK TO BACK
The last time the teams met in 2017, the Bulldogs of Mississippi State went home with the win; however MSU has only won back-to-back matches once in the series. Previously, Georgia was on an eight-game win streak.
SCOUTING MISSISSIPPI STATE
The Bulldogs of Mississippi State are coming off a 6-1 loss at then- No. 16/23 Arkansas. Niah Johnson scored the lone goal for MSU on a penalty kick after MaKayla Waldner drew a foul in the box.
Seventeen different players have recorded a point this year for MSU and nine have scored a goal.
