ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 20 Georgia gymnastics team hits the road to conclude regular season action at No. 4 Utah on Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Friday's meet will be televised on ESPNU, marking the sixth time Georgia will be featured on live television this season.

STORIED RIVALRY
Utah and Georgia have one of the most storied non-conference rivalries in college gymnastics. They are tied for the most all-time national team titles with 10 and are almost evenly split in an overall series that dates back to 1978 (Georgia leads 28-25-1).

HISTORY AT UTAH
Georgia won the 2007 National Championship in Utah, where current head coach Courtney Kupets Carter was also crowned the all-around and vault national champion.

GYMDOGS IN THE RANKINGS
Georgia is ranked No. 20 in the latest RQS rankings on the RoadtoNationals.com website with an RQS of 196.365.

The GymDogs rank 28th on vault, 15th on bars, 16th on beam, and 12th on floor.

Seven GymDogs hold 14 spots within the top-100 in the nation of their respective events, based on RQS.

For vault, Lauren Johnson ranks 43th and Sydney Snead follows at 49th, while Rachel Dickson is 81st.

Dickson is ranked No. 32 on bars. Marissa Oakley moved up three spots to No. 38 and Snead sits at No. 45. Natalie Vaculik held on to the 87th spot.

Sabrina Vega holds the 41st spot on beam. Snead and Vivi Babalis are tied for 59th in the event, while Dickson checks in at No. 69.

On floor, Snead ranks 21st, while Dickson holds the 28th spot and Vega sits at No. 34.

Additionally, Dickson jumped four spots to No 16 in the all-around rankings, while Snead comes in at 24 this week.

FAMILY TIES
Head coach Courtney Kupets Carter's brother Chris played one season for the Utah men's basketball team in 2010-11.

SCOUTING THE UTES
Utah is returning home after a month on the road and back-to-back losses to California and Michigan.

Utah is undefeated in Huntsman Center this season with wins over BYU, Oregon State, Washington, and Arizona State.

Sophomore MyKayla Skinner has earned four Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honors this season.

ELEVEN GYMDOGS NAMED TO ATHLETICS HONOR ROLL
A total of 497 University of Georgia student-athletes earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher and were named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the 2017 fall semester. Eleven of those student-athletes are Georgia GymDogs.
