Georgia Travels to Gainesville to Face the Gators

GAME NOTES
ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia soccer hits the road to face SEC rival Florida Gators in Gainesville on Thursday, October 18 under the lights at Donald R. Dizney Stadium at 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs will return for a game against Alabama on Senior Day at the Turner Soccer Complex on Sunday, October 21 at 2 p.m.
Senior Day
Sunday marks senior day for Georgia's four seniors- Sydney Shultis, Anna Bougas and graduate transfers Kerry Manion and Kerri Cook.
Sydney Shultis has battled injury during her time as a Bulldog. She played in 40 games prior to her senior season, tallying three goals, two assists and 59 shots for the Bulldogs.
Anna Bougas has appeared in six games wearing the Red and Black.
Kerry Cook joined the Bulldogs this season after graduating from Middle Tennessee and has played in five games for UGA, tallying 66 minutes.
Kerri Manion came to Georgia to continue her education after graduating from Columbia. She has played in six games, making her first start as a Bulldog at Auburn. She has tallied 149 minutes and one shot.
Road to Orange Beach
The top 10 teams in the SEC will advance to the SEC Tournament in Orange beach. Georgia currently sits at No. 12 with five points in the conference. Above the Bulldogs is Missouri and Mississippi State at 10 and 11, respectively, with seven points. The Florida Gators sit at No. 9 with eight points. Georgia needs to win two of its last three games to advance to the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach.
Florida Series History
Florida holds the advantage over Georgia at home and away, with only two games ending in the Bulldogs' favor.
Alabama Series History
Although Georgia has lost the last five meetings against the Tide, the Bulldogs lead the series 11-5-1 all-time, with a 4-3-1 mark in Athens.
Coming Up
