Georgia Heads to Gainesville

The Georgia men and women travel to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend to compete in the Gator Invitational Sunday, Feb. 9, at UF's O'Connell Center. Competition is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with the men's 5,000 meter run and concludes with the women's 4x400 meter relay scheduled for 4:55 p.m.

UGA Posts Eight Wins At Carolina Fast Times
UGA posted eight individual wins at the Carolina Fast Times meet in Chapel Hill, N.C., on February 1.

For the women, junior Hyleas Fountain won the 60 meter hurdles and the long jump, junior Fanni Juhasz won the pole vault and sophomore Krysha Bayley won the triple jump.

On the men's side, sophomore LaRon Bennett won the 400 meter dash, junior Philip Bett won the 3,000 meter run, junior Antonio Saunders won the triple jump, and junior Lucais Mackay won the weight throw.
